Saratoga Springs

                                                                                 Saratoga Springs 2020      Over the summer I went to Saratoga Springs, New York to coach for a week long soccer camp. After camp ended for the day the other trainers and I decided we were going to go cliff jumping. We drove an hour from our hotel to find a beautiful trail we found on an application called AllTrails . On the way we drove through dirt roads with trees surrounding us, it was a perfect view that could be seen in the beginning of a movie scene. Once we arrived we realized the cliffs we were going to were about an hour hike from where we parked our cars. The hike started easy with crossing a small river by jumping from rock to rock. About 20 minuets in the hike turned into a beginners level rock climbing hike. During the hike we were on the slant of the mountain with nothing but a huge lake beside us. We all had a spike of adrenaline when we realized how dangerous it could be. We really did not

You Never Know When Your Past Will Show Up

      Life has a funny way of making a circle! I started playing soccer when I was just a youngster, I believe I was about 7 years old. I moved to a new town and this was the sport of my choice. Although, I was a gymnast, cheerleader and ran track, I fell in love with the soccer! I fell so in love that I played for the next thirteen years of my life, on my high school team and a town team. Once I graduated high school I decided I needed a little bit of a change. I remember feeling worn out from the same routine . When I started college took the chance of joining my colleges Competitive Cheerleading Team. It was something different and I knew I would able to catch on because of my gymnastic background. Joining my college cheerleading team was one of the best 3 years of my life. Being apart of that team taught me many life lessons and introduced me to my love for teaching and coaching.
