Saratoga Springs

                                                                  Saratoga Springs 2020

Over the summer I went to Saratoga Springs, New York to coach for a week long soccer camp. After camp ended for the day the other trainers and I decided we were going to go cliff jumping. We drove an hour from our hotel to find a beautiful trail we found on an application called AllTrails. On the way we drove through dirt roads with trees surrounding us, it was a perfect view that could be seen in the beginning of a movie scene. Once we arrived we realized the cliffs we were going to were about an hour hike from where we parked our cars. The hike started easy with crossing a small river by jumping from rock to rock. About 20 minuets in the hike turned into a beginners level rock climbing hike. During the hike we were on the slant of the mountain with nothing but a huge lake beside us. We all had a spike of adrenaline when we realized how dangerous it could be. We really did not worry to much because we were already 30 minutes deep in to the mountain. When we got to the top of the cliff there was the most beautiful view of the Saratoga Lake. Across the lake there were green trees and mountain views. But, behind that view was the gorgeous view of the sunset rays filling the sky. The hike turned out to be one the most amazing hikes i have been on so far. The adrenaline rush from the cliff jumping and slight rock climbing really enhanced the love I have for nature.
