Meditation practices are a very relaxing practice for soothing your mind and body. I believe it is so important to be in touch with your mind and body to understand your yourself from within. For myself, meditation takes me to a place of relaxation and becomes an escape from reality. Since I am now working again, thankfully, I focus more on meditation in the morning before work and in the evening before bed. Sometimes if I am having an off day, mid-day I follow a guided meditation that focuses on breathing, to reset my mind. I would recommend this practice to anyone that feels anxious, depressed or overwhelmed. At first it may feel a little weir to focus on your breathing but trust me, its nice to let your mind feel empty sometimes.
