Descriptive Story: The purpose of a descriptive story is to describe a person, place, or thing to help the reader imagine the story in their mind. To help us imagine we must pay close attention to the descriptive details through the story.
Descriptive Adjectives: A word that describes a quality or feature of a noun/pronoun.
Ex: The tall girl played basketball. (descriptive adjective= tall, noun= girl)
Adjectives Activity- There are multiple adjectives in the descriptive story about Onyx. Identify each descriptive adjective in the story and use the descriptive adjective in your own sentences. There are about six adjectives that can be found thought out the story.
